Gerry (303/365)

Gerry Conlan: Diabetic great-uncle was my most favorite relative. He often joined me in my room for tea parties at my little white round table. Kneeling, he daintily sipped "tea" from my china tea set and ate little Salerno butter cookies that he wore like rings.

Cedar you must have grown-up in/near Chicago! Did you wear them like rings?

Oh how I miss Salerno cookies and Jingles at Christmas time.

Yes, Otter, I grew up in Elgin which is near Chicago. I didn't realize Salerno cookies were regional. And yes, I wore them like rings!
