Mrs. Dickmann (282/365)

Mrs. Marianne Dickmann: Earthy science teacher chaperoned all of our H.S. Quetico trips. Lipstick and make-up were not her bag. Educated us about the importance of daily applications of a good moisturizer, reminding us to never neglect our necks. (Please forgive me, I lied about the hemo-stat).

I'm trying to visit as many of the NaBloPoMo blogs as I can and I thought I'd say hi, I liked your blog.. :) What an interesting concept! I'm going to be doing a photo a day for next year myself.. this is an inspiration.. ;)

If I thought NaBloPoMo was a challenge, I was wrong when I read your blog commitment. Bravo! Another NaBloPoMo'er here, also trying to post a comment on someone else's site daily. I like your idea of paying tribute to people who shaped your life. Very touching -- I'm going to "borrow" that idea for today's entry.

OK, I'll bite. What's NaBloPoMo?

And I love the line "I lied about the hemotstat."

"NaBloPoMo is an alternative to November's NaNoWriMo, National Novel Writing Month, the program wherein you crank out a novel in thirty days.

Some of us lack the imagination, stamina, and self-destructive impulses required to write a novel that quickly, but, by Grabthar's Hammer, we can update our blogs every day for a month!"
