Elizabeth (152/365)

Elizabeth V.J.: College friends, we use to love blowing bubbles out of our dorm room window after dinner. They swirled and danced, twinkling like Elizabeth's beautiful blue eyes in the twilight. Every March she celebrates her birthday with a watermelon instead of the traditional cake.

The best bubbles were the ones we filled with cigarette or other smoke that would burst and then poofffff away.

I tend to celebrate my birthday in late May....

But do you still have watermelon instead of cake?

Seldom. Now I make a lucious hazelnut chocolate torte. Finding watermelon in the grocery stores in May is not the rare treat it was 20+ years ago.
